The policy permits nationals of either country to enter the other for stays of up to 30 days per visit, visa free. A maximum stay of 90 cumulative days within any 180-day period will apply.
Travelers are not permitted to undertake activities that require a visa, including work or study. A visa is required for those travelers who plan to undertake such activities or stay for a longer period than the maximum duration of stay.
The new policy does not allow Chinese nationals to enter Azerbaijan visa free for business purposes, however, Azerbaijani nationals are permitted to enter China visa free for business purposes. Those seeking to enter to conduct such activities, or stay for longer than the maximum duration of stay, must obtain a visa.
The above policy is not applicable to those traveling to Hong Kong SAR or Macau SAR.
