China Visa Applications from UK

A new online form has been launched to apply for China visas from the UK. From Monday 31st March onwards, only applications submitted with the new form will be accepted.

New Application Process

After the form has been completed online, applicants will be required to upload all necessary documents and submit the application electronically. The Visa Application Centre (VAC) and the Chinese authorities will review the application and approve it, where appliable.

Once approved, applicants will receive an email notification to submit their application. While the exact approval time is not specified, it is expected to take a few days. Upon receiving approval, only the applicant’s passport needs to be submitted. Biometrics will be required solely for multiple entry visas. Once biometrics are provided, they will remain on file for five years.

Exemptions

Applicants for single or double entry visas, or those who have provided biometrics in the last five years, will be exempt from personal attendance. In such cases, Nomadic can file the application on the applicant’s behalf.
