Malaysia Extends Visa-Free Stay for Libyan Nationals

The Malaysian government has extended the visa-free stay for Libyan nationals from 14 days to 30 days.

Eligible purposes include:

  • social visits
  • visiting relatives
  • tourism
  • journalism/reporting
  • attending meetings or conferences
  • business discussions, factory inspections
  • auditing company accounts
  • signing agreements
  • conducting surveys on investment opportunities or setting up a factory
  • attending seminars
  • participating in goodwill missions or examinations at a university
  • taking part in sports competitions
  • other activities approved by the Director General of Immigration.

Any activities beyond the above list require a Work Pass in Malaysia.
