India has increased application fees for an eVisa, taking effect 23 December 2025.
The eVisa allows eligible foreign nationals to travel to India for tourism, business, medical treatment, medical attendant purposes and conferences.
The most notable adjustment is the rise in the cost of the one‑year e‑Business visa, with the standard fee increasing from 80 USD to 120 USD. However, the fee varies by nationality with some applicants facing substantially higher charges, including:
- Australia – USD 215
- France – USD 165
- Saudi Arabia – USD 215
- United Arab Emirates – USD 415
- United Kingdom – USD 242
- United States – USD 140
Fees for the 30‑day e‑Tourist Visa, one‑year e‑Tourist Visa, e‑Conference Visa, and e‑Medical Visa remain unchanged.
