Zambia Extends Business Stay for Visa-Exempt Travelers
Zambia has announced that visitors entering the country for business purposes can now stay for up to 90 days within a 12‑month rolling period, an increase from the previous 30‑day limit.
This extended stay period provides greater flexibility for business travelers engaged in activities such as trade meetings, negotiations and other commercial engagements.
The policy aims to attract more international business visitors and forms part of Zambia’s wider visa liberalization strategy, including the expansion of visa exempt entry for multiple nationalities.
Travelers may be asked to provide proof of business purpose, such as a company letter, upon entry to Zambia.
The extended stay does not confer work authorization. Any form of formal employment still requires the appropriate work permission.
