Mutual Visa Waiver Agreed by Bolivia and Honduras

Bolivia and Honduras have signed a reciprocal visa waiver agreement, which will permit nationals of each country to travel to the other country for tourism and transit without a visa for up to 90 days (with no extensions available).

It should be noted that in Bolivia, a Specific Purpose Visa is technically required to conduct any business or work activities. Honduran nationals seeking to conduct business activities should therefore apply for a Specific Purpose Visa on arrival or at a Bolivian consular post if their travel is not urgent. Business activities are generally not permitted under the visa waiver program.

In Honduras under the visa waiver program, Bolivian nationals cannot be paid by a Honduran entity but may be able to conduct unpaid business activities.

The implementation date of this agreement is as yet unclear. Bookmark this page for the latest updates.
